Skin Tag Removal

Professional Skin Tag removal in Canterbury

Skin Tag Removal Treatment Canterbury

One of the most effective methods is advanced electrolysis: skin tags are cauterized using a minute electrolysis needle where a tiny current will be passed through to cauterize the skin tag, ensuring it doesn’t reappear.

This treatment is perfect for those wanting to remove skin tags and our team in Canterbury is fully trained in this process.

There is minimal discomfort during treatment and this treatment does not cause scarring.

Skin Tag Removal Canterbury Kent

It’s unclear exactly what causes skin tags. Since they usually show up in skin folds, friction may play a role. They are made up of blood vessels and collagen surrounded by an outer layer of skin but are easily removed in a professional environment.

The following are contraindications for Skin tag removal:

  • Hepatitis B (highly infectious, virus not easily destroyed)
  • Blood disorders (Haemophilia)
  • Heart conditions – especially when taking blood thinners such as warfarin
  • High blood pressure (can only treat when controlled or lowered)
  • Skin diseases and allergies (fungus infections, broken skin, active eczema or psoriasis)
  • Diabetes (skin is slower to heal)

  • Anti-coagulant drugs
  • Pregnancy
  • Keloid scarring
  • Epilepsy
How many skin tags can be removed per session?

We will try and remove as many skin tags within the allocated 40-minute treatment window. Small-sized tags are very quick to treat, however, some of the larger ones are often quite stubborn and may need more time.

How many treatments are required?

Depending on the number of skin tags, you may need more than one session but we will discuss all of this with you during your consultation.

How does the treatment feel?

There will be a mild sensation similar to a stinging nettle on the skin when the skin tag is cauterized. There might be residual stinging for a few minutes after treatment. The area can be slightly itchy for about 10 minutes after the skin tag removal.

Wonderful and Professional

The staff were professional, reassuring and so down to earth! I have found the past beauty/skin care businesses are unfriendly and a bit scary, but definitely not with the two ladies today! I  am deffo coming back for more treatment and will recommend them to my friends.
